  • The maximum stay for your Turkey e-Visa depends on your nationality and ranges from 30 days in total to 90 days in total.
  • The Turkey e-Visa is valid for 180 days after arrival (generally processed on the same day). If you submit the visa application outside the validity period of 180 days after arrival, we will hold your application and submit it at the right time. This means that you can request it at any time.

  • You must apply for a new visa if the information you provided during your visa application differs from the information in your passport.
  • Certain nationalities require an additional supporting document (visa or residence permit) from one of the Schengen countries, or from the US, UK or Ireland with the visa application. To see which requirements apply to you, go to our application page and enter your nationality.
  • The date of issue of the additional documentary evidence cannot be later than your travel date.
  • The e-visa for Turkey is only valid for tourism and short business trips.
  • You must have with you your passport with a validity of at least 6 months from the date on which you intend to enter Turkey.
  • Immigration officers at the border stamp your passport both on entry and exit. We therefore point out that your passport must have enough blank pages.
  • You do not need to apply for a visa if you do not leave the international transit zone.
  • When your e-visa expires in Turkey, you must first leave the country before you can apply for a new e-visa.
  • Travelers arriving at a seaport and wishing to visit the port city or nearby provinces for tourism purposes are exempt from having a visa provided their stay does not exceed seventy-two (72) hours.
