Algerians who obtain an official passport are exempt from the need of a visa to enter in Turkey, assuming that their trip does not last longer than 90 days.
Here is a list of Algerian passport holders that don’t need a visa to enter in Turkey:
- Algerians with an official passport – Visa-free for their first 90 days of travel
- Algerians with an ordinary passport (under 15 years old) – Visa-free within 90 days period of travel
- Algerians with an ordinary passport (over 65 years old) – Visa-free within 90 days period of travel
Algerian travelers holding an ordinary passport must apply for a Turkish visa upon entry if they want to stay for more than 90 days. Algerians can apply for a Turkey e-Visa if they are also Schengen Area residents or have a residence permit from the UK, USA, or Ireland.
They can get their single-entry permit with 30 days of stay by completing a simple application.
Visa Entry Requirements in Turkey for Algerians
To apply online for an electronic visa, Algerians must fulfill all the electronic visa requirements.
Visitors must:
- Be aged 15-18 or 35-65
- Posses a current visa or residence permit from a Schengen country, the USA, the UK, or Ireland
- Be traveling to Turkey for tourism or business purposes
- Spend no more than 30 days in Turkey
Those Algerians who do not fulfill all of these requirements must submit their visa application through a Turkish embassy.
Turkish e-Visa Policy For Algerians
- The validity of an Algerian passport should be at least six months. The count starts on the day of arrival in Turkey.
- The system will notify the applicant through email at the registered address with any important information.
- Algerians are encouraged to apply for an e-Visa 3 to 5 days before the arrival in Turkey.
- The e-Visa must be downloaded and printed on paper. Before allowing travelers to enter, the border authorities will carefully review all provided requirements. Make sure the data you submit is complete and accurate. Otherwise, admittance could be ruled invalid by the authorities.
